These were my twin passions in private practice and are the key components of any successful law firm. A soundly based strategy will be founded upon the firm’s existing or readily obtainable resources – if it’s not then the likelihood is we’re looking at a wish list, not a strategy.
The firm’s strategy has to have an aspirational element to it, a clear articulation of where the firm aspires to be. This sets the direction of travel. Leadership plays a full part in developing strategy, then wins stakeholder buy in, builds commitment through communication and leads by example.
Whether at firm or team level, I help leadership and management review and re-set their strategies and guide them, as a critical friend, on implementation.
